Tale of A Pale Empty Tale of A Pale

Random if you hate it just don't comment. *flails*

_________________________________________________

A full moon, grey clouds silently drifting. A light crunch, crunch as his black VANS walk lightly to stand before me, over loose gravel, and was he a sight to behold.
Skinny black jeans, a tight white t-shirt scrunched at the waist under a white stud-belt, a wash-board torso. His slender shoulders were back, stance relaxed, with thin arms bent at his sides, hands deep in his pockets.
My cute face jaw-slacked in amazement as I ran my wide blue eyes up his body, finally meeting amber eyes spiked with shadows from his bronze locks of bowl-cut hair. He smiled gently, making me blush,
"Who're you, all alone out here?"
I almost melted. He was talking to me in such a soft, curious tone.
I dipped my chin to the ground, silk black hair falling around my red face,
"T-That party back there, I don't know any of those kids..."
I stare hard at my black sneakers, black shorts hanging around my knees and tight midnight-blue t-shirt hugging my chest. A soft black jacket hung around my shoulders, open to the weather.
"Hey,"
The crook of his finger lifts my chin, my eyes wandering to his and being unable to look away,
"I can change that."
My mind raced,
"W-Who are you?"
He slid his cheek by my own, whispering my ear and sliding his fingers under my hair near my ear,
"A teenager. A stranger. A mystery."
My eyes widened still as he stepped up close to me, wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me against him, hand pressed gently to my back,
"Shawn."
His sweet breath washed over me.
I felt my arms go limp as he pressed his cold lips to mine with a jolt, and without thinking, I pressed back, overcome with emotion and longing.
My eyes slid closed, all sense forgotten.
The clouds seemed to freeze, the trees gasp, and the ground waver.
Then dirt flies up to meet my back, dew tickling the back of my neck.
When did we get on the ground?
Then I feel him, his light weight on top of me pressing, moving, hands over my hair and under my clothes, lips still to mine.
He slides away, teeth to my neck after a minute.
Brush brush nibble. Brush brush nibble.
He was searching for something, but I could care less.
I stretched and moaned to match him, hands flat to the damp grass beside me, pulsing with feelings I'd never had before.
Brush brush pause.
Then he found what he was looking for.
A vein.
As his teeth sank in, I didn't cry out.
I didn't shove him away.
I held the back of his head, eyes fogged and head a flurry, to the space between my collar-bone and chin, as he licked the blood trickling down my warm skin.
Then he patched the two holes with thin medical tape with swift fingers, me slowly falling into a sound sleep.
He kissed me one last time, a long, loving kiss, before vanishing.
All I saw overhead was a sinking moon before I blacked out, jacket wide open and clothes askew, head lolling to the side.
I was insane for letting a vampire have me, and I knew it.
I was just some kid who lives not far away in an appartment with my dad.
I was a gay, studious, shy teenager.
But I was lonely.

Cool! I love Convers. I've got a black pair.

"Shawn. Oh, God."
Warm hands feeling my flushed cheeks, a soft blanket up to my chin, and a feather bed under me. I must be in a hospital.
My eyes crack open, seeing my thinning-blonde father's blue eyes widely staring down at me, "Dad?"
The blanket is a soft blue cotton, the bed's metal railings up, and my hair messy.
I felt groggy, but otherwise alright.
He takes my face in his hands,
"Shawn, my boy, what happened?"
Beeping moniters alongside him flash with red and green lights, an IV in my arm and ceiling lights bright,
"How long was I out?"
My father sighed, shaking his head,
"I found you just last night, it's Saturday."
Sunrise light peeks from behind heavy blue curtins hanging over the large window near the door.
I slowly dragged my free hand, trembling and pale, up to my neck to feel the two small holes side by side, fingers brushing the healing scabs gingerly,
"It was a vampire,"
I said simply, voice rasping from the night's moaning-misuse.
My dad brushed my black silk bangs from my eyes,
"Shawn, you're fourteen now. You should know vampires don't exist."
I closed my eyes again, sleep tugging at my conciousness,
"I know what I felt," I let out a deep breath and whispered,
"And I know what he was..."

________________________Cool thanks!!!!_____________________________

Sitting in a black room, no lights, no color. Wearing my black jeans and Convers splashed with white, a tight black top cut off at the shoulders. I'm sitting on a block the same blend as everything else, hands shackled together by prisoner cuffs.
I turn my head to the side, looking at myself in one of the strips of mirrored glass surrounding me.
My black hair is clean and neat, something I almost never do, and my eyes have a suave shine to them. One silver bullet earring dangles from my right upper ear, glistening against pale skin.
My reflection is dressed in a crisp suit and he is sitting up straight, as I am not.
My own eyes stare blankly back at me, even when I try making a face to see if it changes.
"Foolish child," It echoed in my voice, mouth moving without mine.
I blink.
"It's not his fault," comes another echo.
My hair swishes as I spin around to face the opposite direction, seeing another reflection of me wearing an open black jean jacket, shirtless, with my same black jeans and Convers. Many more earrings hung from his left ear,
"He's just a teenager."
I say nothing, watching myself in punk form smile crookedly back at me.
"Yes, but he's smarter then that. He should've known."
I turn back to my proper self and notice neither of my reflections are shackled.
"Yeah? Well, I say it was Roy's fault."
"Oh, pish posh, he could've walked away and been done with it!"
"Roy would've captured him then! Or at least come back later! He's a vampire, they don't just let meals run wild while they starve!"
I listened to my reflections fight, sitting calmly in the middle, with slouched shoulders and open ears.
They seemed to be having fun.
"It was his fault!"
"It was Roy's fault!"
Roy. That must be the vampire,
I thought absently.
"His!"
"Roy's!"
"His!"
"Roy's!"
As their voices climbed higher and higher, I sighed inconspicuously,
"Doesn't matter who's fault it was," my voice haulted them in their tracks, coming clear and blunt, "It happened, and that's that."
Both my reflections looked at me for a second, then at each other,
"I do beleive he's right."
"Yeah. The kid's got some sense."
"Well, I still think he could've..."
They both faded into the darkness, leaving me to think in peace.
Ah,
I thought again.
Quiet once more.

Tale of A Pale Mybanner48fa6539216c5cl8

Birds singing. I open my eyes, gazing around my green room. Home. The walls are painted like a grass mural of Ireland, my ceiling the sky a beautiful blue with clouds. My carpet is a soft green and both my dresser and my desk are tree-bark-texture brown. I sit up, swinging my legs over the side of the bed, a darker green like a bed of grass, and stretched. I wince. Muscles are a bit sore. Neck hurts a little. Otherwise, alive. My long pale legs brush, knees shifting together as I lean back on my hands, staring out the open window opposite my side of the room. The sun was shinning, and my lawn was wet with morning dew. The Cherry Blossom tree loomed over to the right, pink sprouting from between the leaves and a purple butterfly fluttering around the falling petals. I lower my gaze to my short black shorts. The white tank top drooping on my shoulders rustles in the cool breeze, one strap slipping down over my smooth arm.
I lift it back up with a graceful hand and stand, turning and making my bed in two swift movements, and gliding to my dresser. The doors open soundlessly, and I pull out a pair of tight blue jeans, an orange underarmour shirt, and a jean jacket. Dressing, I hopped out my window with nothing but a note on my bed. I know my father's already made up his mind on grounding me, but I needed to get out. Out and away. Far.

Tale of A Pale Empty Re: Tale of A Pale

Post by RitsukaofLoveless Thu Oct 30, 2008 11:27 pm

The sun high overhead, clouds slowly floating, floating, and my mind, drifting, drifting... The wind blew a softly silk black lock over my eyes as I slept under the oak tree deep in the mountains, in the meadow by the road leading into the city. Flowers grew around my ears and grass reached by my arms crossed behind my head, holding small ladybugs and grasshoppers resting from their long-day travel across the lively space. I sneeze and open my eyes, looking up at the birds fluttering in the sky.
Blinking, I hear a distinct hum around of the corner of the tree and sit up, hands holding me upright as I look around to see a tall black figure standing over me.
The person leaned forward and sunlight lit up their diamond-sparkling face, smiling gently and still humming his lullaby, "A part of you has grown in me, and so you see, you and me, together forever, and never apart, maybe in distant but never in heart." He sang, softly and hypnoticlly, slipping closer to me as I stare up at him in wonder. With his statue-like grace, he sits beside me, "Shawn. Hope you feel better." I flush at that familiar voice, dipping my chin a bit, "I-I - uh - yeah, I'm okay." He leans against my warm shoulder, cold as stone, "Good, I'm glad. My apologies for such harsh handleings the other night, I was starved neary to death." He chuckled lightly. Haha. He was already dead.
I swallowed as he leaned down to be eye-level with me, "I-I, I understand," I stutter, "but... why are you back?" The vampire crossed his legs, "I came to apologize. You were so... quiet. I was expecting more fear, more drama. But you were so simple. So..." he leaned to breath on my neck, "...Delicious. Blood tastes better on my tounge when I know my prey isn't suffering so." He ran his tounge over the newly healed skin on my collarbone. My heart lept, but I kept my emotions in check, "I... wanted to ask you." I paused, his attention captured. The perfect boy looked up at me, "Oh? A question? Fire away, my young prey."
I look into his eyes, fully under control for once, gaze curious instead of scared, "What's your name?" Those eyes bore into mine, seeing deep into my soul but not penetrating the answer or question I was going to ask. He looked at me in confusion for a second, then set his hand on the side of my face slowly, cold against warmth, fingers messing with my black hair, "Your hair is so soft. Black hair is usually course, and rough, but yours is like silk," he looked deep into my eyes, as if trying to read my mind, but then smiled, "Alright, you win. Zen Aldous is my name, sex is my game." I felt his other hand on my knee, but was too thoughtful to notice much, "Don't vampires kill their victums?" He hesitated, as if thinking if he could trust me, "Yes. I do, anyway, and most of them are animals. I only go to humans when life... or, after life... gets a bit too hecktic for me, and I need a stress releiver. I don't know why I let you live." I lifted my hand off the grass and saw his eyes glance at it with defensive caution, but he held back from swatting it back down, "Think. Why me? Is... it my blood type? My body? Or... Maybe..." My fingertips brushed along his neck, up his cheek, and twined into his bronze hair gently, "There's another reason." I finished softly. He froze. I saw the wheels turning in his head under my fingers, trying, searching, for an answer. His hand dropped off my face, but still I stared into his bottomless golden eyes, silently waiting for him to digest this. He shifted in the grass suddenly, turning his head to the side and pressing his lips to mine. We sat together for what seemed like forever and a day, before he let me catch my breath and pull me into him, into his lap and curl into a ball, "You're right," he whispered into my ear, "It's the love you put into those few moments we had together. Not impulse. No instinct. Just pure love. I haven't ever seen anything so unpolluted. You are a wonder." I relax into his chest and close my eyes, for fear of death has evaporated from my heart. There we stayed all after noon, until the sun went down, and I fell asleep in his arms.

Tale of A Pale Empty Re: Tale of A Pale

Post by RitsukaofLoveless Mon Nov 03, 2008 9:22 pm

___The crowd. Staring at me with seething hatred. A burning stake. A handsome face, melted from the flames, and perfect body in a cruisifiction position. No. Who is that?! I could stand it no longer, to look up into those eyeless sockets glaring sorrowfully down at me, oooooh! No. No! My heart aches in my chest as I stand, frozen, gazing up in horror at the boy burned on the cross. No longer! Please, no! I turn, sandles flying off and jeans tearing on a jagged peice of wood left over from the burning.
___A branch slapped my pale face, but still I ran, ignoring the stabbing pine needles in my heels. I heard the footsteps of hundreds chasing me, screaming, and adrelaline pumping. My black jacket blew around my waist and black jeans hugging sprinting legs as I darted through the midnight forest, eyes wild. A fallen branch grabbed my ankle, sending me sprawling and at the mercy of the riot.
___They were growing closer.
___Time crawled as I pressed my nose into the underbrush, panting and slick with sweat from my run. My heart drummed in my ears. The steps neared and neared until they were almost upon me and I got a bit of what they were shreiking, "Vampire lover!" "Leech worshiper!" "Kill him!" "Cut off his head!" "He fed a monster!"
___I clenched my fists. It was Zen! On the wooden cross! They killed Zen, and now they had come after me! I gasped for air into the dirt, blowing dust about the dead leaves blanketing the ground. I stop for a second, then greif overcomes me. My shoulders shake with racking sobs. As a great, cold hand lifted me by one elbow and looked down at me, my eyes fluttered open, "Shawn! Shawn, awaken!"
I look up to see Zen over me, his hair silk against the black sky dotted with stars and eyes aglow with worry. Tears stain my face, panic seeps from my chest, and I fall limp into his arms, "Zen..." I rasp, leaning my head into his shirt.
He hugs me close, stroaking the back of my head as I try to catch my breath,
"What happened in your dream?"
I curled my legs under me,
"They killed you, Zen! I was alone! They had torches, and spears, and, and..."
I burst into tears once more.
Zen tensed angrily,
"Who did?"
"T-They... everyone!"
I cried.
He tightened his grip on me, bodies pressed together, and ran his finger tips down my side and back up, slowly, and that calmed me down,
"I kiss you sweet, you're sleeping in silence... All alone, in ice and snow... In your dreams, you are calling my name... You are my love..."
His voice soothed me to slow my breathing down and close my eyes again. I wrap my arms around him, willing him to comfort me more as I drift back to sleep, sun beggining to peek over the horizon,
"I love you... Zen..."

Thanks!!

Soft comforter, gentle breeze. Dreamy warmth, bitter cold. I open my crystal blue eyes and look around my room. It's mid-morning. I was gone all day.
There was police tape all around my furniture, my shelves were dusted clean for once. I was curled facing my wide window and had my arm folded, tucked, beside my chest on the sheets, a wool blanket I didn't reconize pulled up over my shoulder. A lump of stone, it felt, was laying beside me, and a gentle hand carressed my hip slowly. I yawned,
"Z-Zen...?"
A chuckle blew cool breath over my neck, making me shiver with delight,
"Yes, Shawn? Feeling better?"
I turned over so I could see him, lying on my back as my eyes met his and I smiled,
"Much. My dad here?"
His hand shifted to my stomach and he twirled his fingers in patternless circles,
"No. Must be out somewhere."
I noticed with a pang of embarassment that I was wearing my white sleeveless t-shirt and black shorts again. Zen must've found them in my dresser. The clock on my wall ticked rythmicly,
"So... are you here to stay?"
Zen sat up as I perched myself on my elbows,
"I'll come and go. Go to feed, and come to comfort. Will you be alright while I'm gone?"
I nod, sitting up fully and stretching,
"Yeah, I'll get my punishment overwith with my dad and go back to school for now, see all my teachers whom I despise and get some homework finished. Maybe boost a few grades."
Zen fell silent, gazing out the window with far away eyes.
I blinked, leaning forward and crinkling the blankets under me,
"Do you have anyone to go home to? Or some friends at least?"
Zen closed his bedroom eyes, black eyelashes sweeping his cheeks,
"I did, once. When I was younger, I had a little sister and mother. But that was decades ago."
I scooted closer to him,
"Tell me about them. I'd love to listen."
He turned his head towords me, opening his eyes once more and smiling,
"Alright,"
A cool arm slid around my waist as I leaned into him, leaning my hand on his knee,
"Seventy three years ago, I lived in Scottland in a small cottage in the middle of the woods. I would always walk home with my friends, as few as there were, and play soccer with them until dark. Play with our sheep dogs and lye under the stars at night. My sister, Mrtyle, was ten, and I fourteen, both of us human."
I saw his eyes tighten, sensing anguish hidden beneath his cool exterior,
"Our mother raised us back then. She never told us about our father, no matter how much we begged. And soon we grew, me into a teenager and Mrtyle into a woman long before I became a man. We helped each other often and leaned on our mother for support. Wasn't long before she was remarried for our sake and got pregnant with another child, both of us were thrilled. My new step-father's name was Alphonse and I trusted and loved him, but I knew nothing could last forever.
Then one day it happened.
"A cold wind blew in from the south and I realized something was strewn. I rushed home with my sister, friends long run back to their families from fear, and burst into my mother's bed chamber. Mrtyle let out a horrified shreik; oh how that shreik would haunt me until this day, and I fell to my knees. Alphonse stood over my mother's lifeless body caked in blood, holding a bundle in trembling arms. She had given birth while we were at school, and not lived through it.
"He turned to us and my sister was the one with enough control to stand by his side. He handed her the bundle, telling in a rasp her to never let this one die. Then and only then did he open his mouth and tear out two vampire fangs, throwing them to the floor. In a minute he was slumped on the floor. Dead."
Zen looked away and I stared at him,
"What was the bundle?"
My voice shook.
"It was..." Zen hung his head,
"A child. A half-vampire child. Born from my mortal mother, and my vampire step father, it stared up at my sister greedily. As she leaned down to examine it closer it bit her nose with razor-sharp teeth. She screamed again and I scrambled to my feet, but it was too late. The child had swallowed her whole. Then it turned to me.
"I froze with terror. He was looking straight at me yet not as hungrily. It leapt, and sank it's fangs into my neck in a split second. I cried out as I fell back onto the wooden floorboards, the thing paralyzing my limbs with it's poison.
"The slurping was unbearable. He sucked and sucked until his thirst was quenched, then he let me drop to the floor like a sack of potatoes. When I looked up with crossed eyes all I could see were blazing purple eyes and a wave of black hair, then I left humanity behind for good. I blacked out for three months and woke up a vampire, and, now here I am, miles away from that horrible memory and with you."
I felt his pain, sensed his agony, and saw his head bend from sorrow. My hands sreached up and rested on his shoulders, leaning my head against his. We sat like this until a car pulled up in the driveway, breaking our silent moment.

Tale of A Pale Empty Re: Tale of A Pale

Zen shot up, standing in front of me as the front door creaked open and someone padded in. I stood up behind him and was going to pass him when an arm held me back by my waist. My shocked expression made him tense even more. The door to my room cracked, slowly opening, and my dad stood in the doorway, tears in his eyes and a bewlidered gape decorating his features,
"Shawn?!"
I nodded, pressing my hands gently to Zen's restraining arm,
"Yeah, dad, It's me."
The vampire boy didn't let me go to him. My father shook his head, looking over at him,
"Who is this?"
I pressed a bit harder on Zen's arm,
"This is Zen. I fell asleep in the mountains and he brought me home, right, Zen?"
Zen glanced at me once more, relaxing his stance and slipping his arm around my hips,
"Yes. I was riding my bike around the camping grounds and saw he was on private property. He's not in trouble, of course, but I brought him back here."
My dad nodded, staring at the arm around me,
"I'm sorry he caused you any trouble, but thank you for bringing him home."
I rolled my eyes,
"Yeh, thanks, Zen."
Zen turned to me, flashed me a small smile, and vanished out the door to talk to my dad. My father gave me the you-are-so-dead-when-I-get-back look before following, leaving me alone with my thoughts.
I sighed, shutting my door and walking over to my closet and pulling out short tan shorts and a tight black shirt, combing out my hair and washing my face. After brushing my teeth and occupying myself with reorginizing my bookshelf, two knocks sounded on my door,
"Come in."
My father stepped in, expression serious yet mad, and closed the door behind him,
"Sit down. Now."
I obliged, sitting lightly on my bed with my head down. He pulls up my computer chair and collapses down into it, leaning his elbows on his knees,
"Shawn. Where do I start? Lets see, um, how about, where the HELL where you yesterday?!"
His voice had grown from above a whisper to a yell and it made my ears ring. I wrung my hands,
"I was up in the mountains, trying to think. I'm sorry I left like that. I'm sorry-"
"Your sorry, huh? Sorry you gave me a panic attack when my son vanished? Sorry I had to call off the police, 'Yeah, he's ok! Oh, he just came home with his boyfriend a few minutes ago!'"
Tears whelled in my eyes. That last one stung. I blinked them away, curling up in a ball with my knees under my chin,
"Yes."
All smoked out, my dad recoils, taking a breather before continuing,
"I'm sorry. It's just, I'm your father, and I get terrified when I can't find you. I worry, you know."
I nod, trying to hold back my sobs,
"I-I didn't think I would be gone so long, but I didn't want to be punished, and..."
I burried my face in my folded arms. My father shifted to sit beside me and wrapped his arm around my shoulders,
"I didn't mean anything I said, Shawn, I was just mad, that's all,"
He pulled me close to him, leaning my head into his shoulder just like Zen did,
"I love you, and I always will, even if I punish you."
I nod, taking a deep breath and smiling up at him,
"I love you too, dad."
