That team originated from some place that was known to pack meat. xD

Almost. The team's founder Curly Lambeau (hence Lambeau field) entered a financial agreement with his employer when he started the team. In exchange for uniform and equipment funds, the Indian Packing Company (iirc) made Lambeau name the team after the company for marketing purposes.

ANYWAY. Mean. =P I am loyal to my state's team, yes, but I also do like the Packers and I was happy they won. But it still kinda peeves me when people diss the Steelers, so.

That was the first super bowl without cheerleaders.

Both of the teams don't have their own cheerleading squads.
They used to, but for one of the teams in some year a long time ago, the cheerleaders asked for better uniforms. And then got fired.
I can't remember what happened to the other one, but they don't have any cheerleaders, either.
There are like six teams without cheerleaders.
