starr's sketchbook
I guess I'll just use this thread whenever I do something in my sketchbook. And it's spiffy enough to upload. xD
Most recent thing, as of... finished yesterday --
You can see how messy my desk is in the first one. I only clean it when people are coming over.
Subject: Mordred from BBC's Merlin.
Time: Maybe three hours altogether.
Supplies: Sketchbook, 2B, F, HB, 8B, and 6B pencils.

I have the same philosophy about my room
I like the freckles, makes it look even more lifelike

Re: starr's sketchbook
My room is cleaner than my desk at the moment. ^^
If it were like my desk, I wouldn't be able to see the floor.
I agree. xD And I love that kid's freckles. They aid in his adorable factor.

Alrighty. These are from a combination of all THREE of my sketchbooks.
...Yes, I have three sketchbooks. xD
1-- Personal
2-- School
3-- Digital
FROM MY PERSONAL SKETCHBOOK:
Both of those are quick sketches of singer Craig Owens.
It says around her face, "There's not one girl here would would be lead by her conscience in a world where every girl wants to be a model."
Mordred. <3 Also the same boy from up there. Speaking of those pictures...
I have a scanned in version of it now!
I love hands. Just saying. They're so expressive.
FROM MY SCHOOL SKETCHBOOK:
Contour sketch. As in, I can't look at the paper while I'm drawing. Self-portrait. I hope that you would be able to read my handwriting. Done with charcoal.
Prince Arthur from BBC's Merlin.
I know where I messed up. x.x; I need practice drawing faces.
FROM MY DIGITAL SKETCHBOOK:
Some guy. No idea who he is. He looks familiar, though.

You do need a little work on faces as far as proportions, but the shadowing and detail are pretty fantastic.

Re: starr's sketchbook
Darn, you guys can't see it full-sized, since WCF cuts it off. Rawr.

Well.
That only took me four or five hours.
My arm hurts. My hand hurts.
Yuck, blisters.
BUT I STILL DID IT!
First real digital painting.
Based on the album release video for "Laminated E.T. Animal" by D.R.U.G.S.
USED: Wacom Bamboo Tablet, TwistedBrush Open Studio
TIME: Four-five hours. Dx
Re: starr's sketchbook
Yeah, I was gonna say, I don't know why but this picture just looks so awesome. I just like looking at it
Re: starr's sketchbook
Ahaha, it was a lot of fun to draw. ^^
There's so many different grays used in that, even if you can't tell. Green-grays, blue-grays, red-grays, brown-grays. e.e;
It was crazy fun. x3
Thanks!
