On the other hand, guys were out at war while we were fighting.
They were dying while we were busy cleaning the house and mending clothing and looking after children.
Looking after children/cleaning/cooking < dying or putting your life in danger.
Men have always taken on the roll of the protector. Even in the wild, it's the male that does the guarding while the female gives birth and stuff.

That said, it wasn't really fair to treat women as second-class citizens and withhold certain rights from them.
But, the past is the past. We can only hope to avoid screwing up in the future.

Yes, because society CHOSE for men to take on those roles. And staying at home taking care of such "easy" tasks wasn't exactly the life either. Many girls would have fought, too, if they were given the same rights as men.
We weren't even allowed to VOTE until like, less than fifty years ago.

I don't see what men fighting has to do with women's rights. Cause they're unrelated. I bet there were many women that wanted to fight but guess what, they weren't allowed! Because they HAD to stay home with the children.
