On neopets, you want to make yourself known? Yeah, good luck with that. You have to fight against all the competition, and even then you can fail before you even set out. Frankly, some just don't make it. =/ And then they're flamed and beaten into a pulp while the ones who attacked walk away without a breaking a sweat, most of the time.

Heck, I've been on for three years and I'm just happy when VK gets recognized by a friend.

Even though neopets if just a website, it's pretty dang realistic.
You've got your popular ones, the clique, the sportnuts, the nubs. You've even got the shy kids and geeks as lurkers.

But some are different, no better or worse than the others.
