A cover for the story I'm writing

I don't feel like taking my name off since it was so much work to make this in the first place, so please no one stalk me

Lol. What story is this for? (Obviously the title, yeah, but have you posted it on here? I'm to lazy to look. ) It looks awesome though! I really like the hand and the bullets in the bottom! Lol, and I won't stalk you.

Well it's a fairly new story. I've only just recently started it but here's the plot line: "Five men are given an offer they just can’t refuse. All five men are in prison for various crimes they committed but they will receive their freedom if they are able to solve a crime: The murder of the man who put them away. But as they get deeper into the mystery and closer to solving it they unmask a secret not meant to be shared. They then end up not only running for their freedom, but their lives." I'm totally obsessed with murder mystery's. Yeah, the bullets were really hard to do because I found them on a white background lol. And good I appreciate no stalking lol

I haven't put it up here but I may think about it, especially if anyone's particular interested, I know I could use advice

I did, but no one read it so I took it off Maybe if all you folk really want to read it then I'll put it back up

I made it on fotoflexer. The site really isn't too bad, and it's free which makes it my friend

And I know I'm double posting but I didn't want to make a new thread for this....but I've asked a few people on nano to make me covers, and one person already did.....and the other person who I'm especially excited to see what she comes up with is a graphic design student, it'll take awhile for her to get to mine, I'll post it on here when she's done. But here's the one that was already made for me....

I changed the title to Shades of Grey.


I thought it was slightly boring and a little plain, but kinda cool

i know this is like months later but COOL! i really like both of them. it inspires me to attempt this too though mine would come out shockingly terrible. like both titles but love the title Shades of Grey. just from starting reading the book i love how the first cover contains elements of it - the cell phone etc. but i also love the classiness of the second one. banners are cool too. loving the tagline "five men are given an offer they just can't refuse." sends shivers down my spine! (ps really enjoying the story as well!)

Yeah I actually made a few different ones after I started writing the story. The first one actually hardly even pertains anymore, funny enough. If you'd like, I could help make you one. I'm not very good but I like doing it

Yeah I changed the numbers. Only the old one started with five. Then like 50 pages in I edited out two characters I didn't need and didn't like much anyways because I had way to many

Yeah plus all the non main characters. It was making me crazy

I have six main characters in my story... XDD
But I need all of them. o3o

You were probably wise to cut back. xD

I have five main protagonists. Then there are three main antagonists. And then characters that pop in when I need them. I'd say I have five reccuring characters. Two of them died though. The two main character I cut will come back as minor characters. One of them actually already did. Yeah well it turned out they didn't say much anyways, and I wasn't attached to them in the least

Ah, five characters might have been too much for a reader to handle, too. Always have to think about the reader as well..

Yeah well the characters hardly said anything, sometimes for pages neither of them said a word and I'd forget about them. If your forgetting your own characters, the reader definitely will. The number of characters I have now is perfect. 70 pages in I'm expecting to get to 100, I'm so excited. I haven't written a story that long in years

Well I started mine back in March. I should be finished. But I get wrapped up in other things and had three months of writers block which was torture.
Yeah I go on inkpop and read stuff but I've never posted anything. I'm so paranoid it'll get stolen. Though nothing I write is probably good enough to be stolen lol. Have you posted anything there? If so you should tell the title and I'll read it
And now I got my nanowrimo idea! I've never done it so I don't know if i'll do it, but at least I have a story idea to write after I finish this story
