Bears are evil. If you don't make noise and you startle them, they'll tare you limb from limb and eat you while your still screaming.....

Well there is no way for you to know how horrible they are. I wouldn't care if they all died, living or not, they are ruthless murders sometimes they randomly attack for no reason, they are unpredictable. Don't go in the woods alone!!!!!!

Well even alone, you could still get eaten but it's less likely. I say poor people

Uhuh, well perhaps you'd have a different attitude if you came into contact with them. I knew a girl who was mauled by a bear and people were saying it was her fault and she deserved it because she was riding her bike in the woods! pulease.

eh panda's don't count I'm talking about polar bears and grizzlies. Black bears are ok, they still attack humans but are more predictable and less mean.

And I don't want to kill all the bears, I want them out of the "city"

Um, there ARE bears in Pennsylvania, you know.
I've seen bears in real life.
I'm not stupid or anything.
I am a firm believer in equal rights for all creatures.
Any animal, any person, anything can attack another creature.
It's instincts; if they see something, they could think it's prey.
Not their fault, by any means.

I didn't say you were stupid and I didn't say you've never seen bears before either. I like animals and their rights too but I'm one of those people that think people come first. I don't care who's fault it is. I want to be able to run, in ski/run/biking trails designed for us to be in without feeling like I have to look over my shoulder every second because a bear could jump out and eat me. Bears belong in the woods or mountains, not in residential areas are local parks!

Hm weird. Polar bears are impossible to aviod. If they see you, they will eat you no matter what. You would have to shoot it to get away. Even if they aren't hungry or if you're not bothering them, they will chase you down and eat you.....i freakin hate bears.

No, us humans took away all the animals' homes.
We cut down forests just to live there.
I believe animals are just as equal as us, and I feel worse when an animal dies than a human (unless I know and like said human).
The cities and such were built on the ANIMALS' land.
It IS rightfully theirs.
They don't see a person and go "Oh, a human, I'm not supposed to kill them."
No, they look at us as prey, some of them.
Not their fault.

No it isn't. Bears are dangerous and should not be in our parks. Humans are animals and have just as much right to live peacefully without fear as they do. Nothing is rightfully theirs. I always feel worse if a person dies.....
There were bears in my neighbor hood, fish and game had to trap them and kill them because they were dangerous

I feel worse for the bears if they're being killed simply for what's natural to them.
Bears are nice creatures, and very rarely do they attack unless threatened. They have just as much - if not, more - rights to the land as people do.
Us humans built all kinds of building on top of land, making animals move to find new homes, killing many animals.
I believe it is not their fault in any way.
People who ride in woods where they know bears and stuff are should know better.

and I'm not saying bears are bloodthirsty killers. what i'm trying to say is that they prey on people. And they are very unpredicable. I would like them out of local parks so I don't ahve to be afraid of getting eaten all the time. In their natural habit it's fine. None of you would truely understand unless you had bears wandering around local areas eating people because that is what happens....

The bears weren't being natural, they were eating our trash. They had to be killed because they were a threat. If the bears can eat us for being a threat, then we can shoot them for being a threat.

Sometimes, and even I will admit it can be rare, bears will attack a person for no reason. You said so yourself that bears have personality and there are such things as aggresive bears. And this is a fact not my opinion, most bears are aggressive. Aggressive bears could simply try to pick a fight, just like an aggressive human might. Calling them nice is definitely a stretch though, "nice" is a puppy that runs over to lick your hand. Bears can be "tolerant" not nice.
