Mm, yes, I see what you're saying.
I think my writing, while my grammar, spelling, and sentence structure is intact, could use a lot of improvement.
I have trouble with subtly intertwining the plot throughout the story, and I seem to rush events and everything.
I also think I have trouble with describing and using details; like, I don't exactly know how to describe stuff or something... I can't really explain it.
But hopefully I shall be improving.

me too! I usually have one character just go and blurt out everything that is going on and happening. Then I reread it and am like well now whats the point of reading past here if the reader already knows whats going on? There's no pull! That's something I really need to improve with but am not sure how

Hopefully my break from actually writing stories and such will have relaxed my brain enough for it to figure out the writing stuff...

I'm not so great at making up my own quotes on purpose but sometimes I'll have a character say something that I'm just like whoa perfect where did that come from!
I always try to save things on word because if i write it on here origionally I sometimes accidently go back and lose everything I've written, and it never comes out as good the second time....

Yeah, I practically save almost EVERY SINGLE THING I ever write.
I have the character profile saved (or, part of it, anyway.. thought I had the whole thing saved) but none of the quotes are there.
Maybe it's somewhere else... I'm just too lazy to look. xP

yeah me too! i have this pathetic little story I wrote when I was 11, it was so awful, i read it and don't know whether to laugh or cry it's so bad

I always save everything! even abandoned stories, you never know when you might want to go back to them Razz
