Haha nah. Skiing isn't that much of a dangerous sport (especially for six year olds) and no one has ever gotten cut skiing. It's cold up here, we were a ton of gear and it isn't downhill skiing, it's cross country Razz

Ohh. xD I'd love to do some extreme sport like skiing.
It doesn't snow enough here, though. But I love snowboarding and skateboarding. I've tried surfing, but it was.. odd. xD

My friend was listening to Imma Monster because I forced her to (she loves it, by the way. xD) and she got bored in history, and wrote her own nonsensicle lyrics. She told me them in the hallway after class got out. One of them was "We're curving "straight edge"." And I was like, "Straight edge?" "Yeah, do you know what it is?" "Yeah, I am straight edge." "Really? ME TOO!" "Seriously? HIGH FIVE!" We high-fived and the guy in front of us turned around and went, "Straight edge for LIFE!" And gave us the sXe sign with his hands. And he kept chatting with us, then veered off towards his friends and went, "GUYS! We're not the only straight edges in the school!" And pointed us out. His friends were all enthusastic, and he waved us over. Lindsey and I ran. xD
"Uhm.. they're coming! RUN!"

Then I MUST educate you. sXe is simply the way to go.

For starters, sXe is straight edge. X's symbolize straight edge. Some people use one, while others use three. These are used to represent the following:
xx1. No drinking. (or anything mind-numbing)
xx2. No drugs. (this includes smoking)
xx3. No sex. (without a loving. comitted relationship or marriage)
Some also tie vegan/vegeterianism into this, while others tie religion into it, saying that God is a poison.
(Personally, I follow all three, and tie religion into it aswell.)

Basically, straight edge is a self-bettering movement. The idea is to keep your body clean from poison and your mind clear and set on the path you want to take in life. Straight edge is a way of life, not just trend to follow because it seems "cool". Most edgers make a lifetime commitment, while some may decide to stop when they become twenty-one. This is a personal choice, though, just as the choice to become straight edge is a personal choice. One cannot be forced into it. Of course, sXe has it's frauds. These are the people that go about boasting that they are sXe, or beating up people that don't follow the edger's way of life. The true edger does not brag about being one, and only when the appropriate time comes up will they reveal that they are sXe. They do not force their opinions on others. It was their choice to become sXe and better themselves in their own eyes, and if they don't, that's that person's choice, and the edger doesn't try to change the other's opinion or make up their mind for them.

Wow, this is long. But sXe really isn't that complicated. It's basically just a dedication to yourself to keep your body clean and your mind clear, to be a better person than some of those out there. Sure, some people scorn us, but that's mostly because the fraud's give us a bad name. (Eg: They wear bandanas on their noses and mouths and flaunt X's on their hands) e.e; ANYWAYS.
