If it is to help them... I just think they'd need to know, since it should ultimately be their choice whether to end their life or not. If they choose to, it is suicide. If not, it's murder.

I've never had a root canal, I have a crown though....a little less painful. I'm sure being stabbed with a knife would be even more painful.
