Re: Wind Dancer
That's Draighean's mother. o.0:;

Draighean and Adare sat on Draighean's couch waiting for Maria to come home, watching the news. Adare was long asleep, so Driaghean flicked through the channels and settled on channel two. "...and Dr. Swyhart tells us the two suspects were boys and, beleive it or not, one was pregnant! 'Yes, the boy told me himself he was, and had been dealing with it for at least three nights,' A quote from the Dr. explained. 'They're both still at large, so everyone be on the lookout.'" Draighean was about to turn off the television when his mother's picture popped up. "This was the woman assosiated with helping the two boys escape and is under police questioning after being caught in a car chase. This is what she had to say. 'Those boys are innocent, all they did was protect themselves. Now you're going to punish them for something even you would have done?'" Draighean's face drained of all color. His mother was at the station, headed to jail, then court! For helping them!
Adare snuggled into his boyfriend's chest, sleeping restfully through his despair, and heard Avon think, "Grandma's in trouble..."
When Adare woke, Draighean was slumped back against the couch fast asleep and breathing quietly, so he slid away without waking him. He went up to Draighean's room and lifted his shirt to get a better look at his stomach in his mirror, feeling extra weight gained from last night added on. Now the size of a globe and sticking out even farther, it looked as if the baby was almost fully grown. 'I'm not ready yet, mother. A few more weeks, A few more weeks...' Adare smiled. No more super-extensive growth, he'll grow normally now, and they had to be patient.
'I'm hungry...' Avon murmered. Adare nodded, making his way back downstairs to the kitchen. He took out a box of oak bunch cereal and a bowl and a spoon and milk, sitting lightly at the table. After a few minutes of munching slowly, he looked up at the clock for the first time. It was noon. "Adare?" Adare swallowed his mouthful of cereal, "In here." Draighen strode into the kitchen, flinching at the cold floor and hair astray, "Sleep ok?" Adare smiled, "Wonderful."
When Draighean caught sight of his stomach, he froze, imagining the horror if the child kept growning at this pace. It would break every bone in Adare's body and kill him instantly, he thought. Adare saw his gaze, taking another spoonful of cereal, "Oh, don't look at him that way. He's stopped growing that fast, I gained less weight then yesterday. Now he'll be fine." Draighean heaved a sigh. "Mari's on trial for helping us."
Adare swallowed again, "What?! What for?!" Draighean smiled apologeticlly, "I punched the doctor, and she helped us get away. And they're coming to inspect her house for us, too."
Adare stopped for a second, laughing, "That was pretty funny, but I didn't think they'd get Maria with the way she drives." Draighean shook his head,
"We have to leave."

Re: Wind Dancer
Ok sorry. Maria is Draighean's mother, the little girl Matitiu was just in the church choir. ^.^
Re: Wind Dancer
Draighean helped Adare across the sandy beach, empty and silent since the announcement of thw two deadly boys. Them. He let him sit on a rock near the waves and flipped open hic cellphone, "I'll call my grandma, she'll let us stay with her." Adare nodded, staring out over the water. The waves rolled so peacefully to lap gently against the white sand, sunlight fliting over the smooth surface farther out so calmly, Adare had to smile. Nature always had a way to cheer him up, even in his darkest moods.
Draighean listened to his phone ring a few times, then smiled when his grandfather Shizuki picked up, "Grandfather, it's Draighean."
...
"Yeah, it's been years since we visited."
...
"Sure, we can come up now. Mother is away somewhere, so is it ok if it's me and a friend?"
...
Draighean chuckled, "No, it's not a girl, Grandfather. Not quite."
Adare set one of his hands absentmindedly over his stomach, smiling. 'You think he'll be mad when he sees us, Mother?' Adare shook his head, "I'm sure Daddy has an idea." Avon hesitated, 'Am I ugly, Mother?' Adare blinked, "No, you most certainly are not! That little girl Mattitiu said you were a beautiful child." Avon sighed, 'Being beautiful is for females, isn't it, Mother?' Adare took a deep breath, "Avon, hon, she might've just seen your insides." Avon fell silent, and Adare began to worry.
Draighean snapped his phone shut, turning to Adare, "My grandparents are going to the store for about seven hours, and said we could unload until they got back. They live up in the mountains, so they don't have any radios or television."
Adare rose to his feet, lowering himself off the rock, "I hope they're gone long enough to form a plan about Avon here."
Draighean took his arm gently and helped him up to the road, "I've got that covered."

Re: Wind Dancer
Draighean and Adare disguised themselves, Draighean in his father's clothes, Adare in Maria's. After a few hours of walking north, they arrived at the house in the forest. Adare smiled at how peaceful it looked, covered in vines and birds singing quietly over the roof. Draighean lead him up to the white wooden door with a long skinny window decorated in pink flowers and pulled it open, holding it for him. Adare glided inside, Draighean close behind, and gazed around. The room was painted a light tan, with a white carpet and two couches up against the back wall where the flat screen TV was, and there were various tables with vases scattered everywhere.
Adare breathed in the scent of millions of candles lit on the window sills near the door, sighing, "This place... is beautiful."
Draighean closed and locked the front door, "I know. I used to run away up here when my dad got to be too much."
Adarenodded slowly, "I see why. This'd be the perfect place to hide." Draighean took what little bags they had, leading Adare to one of the door against the wall to their right and pushing it open to reveal a hallway and staircase at the end that circled up and around a sturdy sandy-coloured pole.
Adare gaped at everything as Draighean lead him across the tile floor, up the stairs, and stopped in front of several doors against both walls and a window at the end, "These are the guest rooms. Grandma and Grandpa live downstairs, their bedroom is closer to the big bathroom they love. Each of these rooms has their own bathroom."
Adare's blue eyes wandered over the flower vases perched in square holes in the walls, obviously painted on, and the long hall carpet made of cotton of a giant tree, "Which room?" He whispered.
Draighean lead him to one of the paintings of a flower on the wall, but this one was different. The others were tulips, but this one had black roses in it's vase. Adare blinked. There was also a black shirt button sticking out on the side of the paint. He reached out and pushed it, not even flinching when the hidden door swung back and revealed a red room.

When Japanese people say 'blue room' or, in our case, 'red room,' it means everything is red and white. They did this to distinguish each room from the other, and every room is a different color. This happens mostly in mansions or summer homes.

Re: Wind Dancer
The carpet was a fine cotton, the curtains on the one window pure silk. The bed had the softest comforter Adare had ever seen and with a painting just like the one on the door next to the bed, only a vase of vivid roses on a nightstand table. There was a giant black cloud on the wall-to-wall carpet, with a silver outline. Adare wished he could reach down without his huge stomach and follow the line with his finger, it was so mesmerising. Everything was red, though. Everything from the sink against the wall beside the bed with it's red metal faucet, to the love-seat couch under the open window dazzeled with sunlight.
Draighean took Adare's hand gently, smiling, and lead him to the window across the room. As Adare's eyes settled on the lush green mountains just over the hill draped in fog and yellow from the sun, he was breathless.
Draighean chuckled, squeezing his hand, "Do me a favor and breath please. You could kill the baby like that." Adare blinked several times, taking in deep breaths, "Sorry. It's all just so... wonderful. I've never seen anything as pure." Draighean let him stand there alone for a second, turning the couch to face the window behind fluttering curtains and pushing the window the rest of the way up. He motioned for Adare to sit on the linen cushions, "Come, you must be tired to have walked that far with me." Adare lifted one foot in front of the other until he was in front of the seat, then sank down slowly and, leaning back, cradled Avon under both of his hands.
Draighean kissed his forehead, "I have to go, Adare. There is a door right beside the bed near the sink, that's the room I'll be staying in. Call if you need me, however loud." Adare reached out and pulled Draighean down farther, pressing their lips together. After a minute, Draighean slid away with a smile, rumbling sounding outside, "They're home. See you tonight, Adare." As he slipped through the hidden door into the hallway, as his footsteps faded down the steps, Adare relaxed back into the warm sunlight washing over him and dozed off.

Re: Wind Dancer
Draighean glided down the stairs with a smile on his face, appearing to be sitting on the couch when the front door opened and both of his grandparents walked in. "Draighean!" His grandmother's face lit up with joy as he hopped up from the white cushions and embraced her, "Grandma!" His grandfather smiled, "Draighean, son, how are you?" Draighean grinned, "Normal. What about you two?" His grandmother held him at arms length, "My, have you grown two heads already? Nothing much with us, dear, where's your little friend? We'd love to meet him!" Draighean's smile faded, "Grandma," he glanced at his grandfather, "Grandpa. My boyfriend's name is Adare." His Grandmother nodded gravely, "I see." His grandfather crossed his arms, "One more thing you forgot to mention. Anything else?" Draighean lowered his gaze, "He's bearing my child." Both adults froze in place, eyes opening wide. "You don't mean to say...?" His Grandma whispered. Draighean took a deep breath, "I do. Would you like to see him?" Both of them nodded.
Adare woke with a start as the secret door opened and Draighean appeared at his side with a smile. He smiled as well, "Hey, Draighean." Draighean sat beside him, "Adare, my Grandparents would like to see you. Would you come down?" Adare's smile vanished, "You told them?!" Draighean kissed his forehead, "It's fine, they understand." Adare moaned, "Alright, but pray they don't call the police on us." Draighean helped him up and to the door, "They love me, I think it'll be okay."
As they strode through the doorway to the livingroom, Adare heard two gasps from the seniors sitting in chairs beside the couch and blushed. Both of them were staring at his stomach. Draighean lead him gingerly to the couch and helped him down, sitting next to him. Draighean's Grandmother gaped at them, "Is he really?" Draighean nodded, "Yes, we had a doctor confirm it." She rose shakily, dragging herself on Adare's other side on the couch, "Sweetie... how?" Adare cradled his bump, "His name is Avon."
