Re: Wind Dancer
I haven't even read this and I feel odd.
"Property of DP"? Are you serious? And just when I thought you couldn't get any odder... (No offense.)
I'll read this when I have time (I think.). But if this gives me nightmares and mental images for weeks, I'm blaming it on you.

Re: Wind Dancer
I have finally read this!
*shudders*
Here come the mental images. Only worse. Much worse. Strawberries... Blond hair... Ugh...
Seriously. I showed this to my other friend. She could stop saying how gross it was. And sick. I'm sorry but it is true. (For the both of us at least.)
*shudders*
I hope I do not have nightmares because of this... Hopefully I wont...

Re: Wind Dancer
Then don't read it, Sylvia.

Adare and Draighean sat on the screened-in porch, beside each other on the love seat white couch. Draighean had his arm around his boyfriend's shoulders, holding him close, as they both stared out over the railing in front of them. The porch all across their vison, decorated with light pink clouds overhead and a blazing red sun above it. Below the mountains, there spread a wide green valley dark with dew and scattered trees here and there. Adare folded his hands across his stomach, sighing, "This place is so peaceful. Not a trace of crowded city life in sight."
Draighean gripped Adare's shoulder tighter, "Yeah. They say nature is the best cure for morning sickness." Adare chuckled to himself. "Lets hope so. I wouldn't want to spoil anything in this beautiful house."
They both fell silent then, entranced by the scenery. A warm breeze came through the screen and rustled their hair. Adare smiled. This was making him feel better, and Avon had quieted down after meeting his great grandparents and fallen asleep.
"You think we could... go for a walk tomorrow? Out in the forest, I mean."
Draighean leaned his head on Adare's. "Maybe we shouldn't. Your due soon." Adare scrunched his face up in argument, but Draighean couldn't see.
"I think Avon is very comfortable. He can wait a few hours."
Draihean hesitated, "Are you sure?" Adare snuggled closer to him, "Yes, I am."
Draighean's shoulders shook in quiet laughter, "Alright, in the morning."
And morning wasn't something Draighean was anxious for. He was still worried Avon might grow to big to be kept inside Adare any longer, and discard his carcass like it was nothing, but he couldn't see the baby's dreams dancing across Adare's mind that made the mother-to-be smile so.
Little pink hearts and flashes of Adare's memories about when him and Draighean were younger lit up the child's head and his left thumb slid into his little mouth.
Only a few more hours, a few more hours.
Then this darkness becomes light, light, light....

I wish I could. But my other friend (not the one who likes to hear about all that crazy stuff you do) said I had to read it and tell her about it. I figure she is too lazy to read it herself...
So, I have to. Otherwise... Something is going to happen. I don't know what...
***********************************************************
Ugh.
*shakes head*
Must forget soon...
Now, my friend wants to know this: How can he be pregnant?!
EDIT: And please, please do not call me Sylvia! It doesn't seem right here!
*sighs*
But I know you are going to call me that anyway... But I'll still tell you... I don't even like the name Sylvia now. It is so annoying....

*crosses arms*
It's not like she can hurt you, so just don't read it. Plus, I explained it already, in like the third chapter.

I think Sylvia's a nice name.

If you like it so much, change your name....
Yes she can. Seriously. She and her sister punch me everyday accidentally. They punch hard! They didn't even try to...

Re: Wind Dancer
I'd rather not.
Then avoid them or tell them how much they hurt. Be serious, and they might help stop themselves.

Adare slid down the back steps in the warm Friday sunshine, taking a deep breath of mountain air and stretching his arms out at his sides,
"How beautiful!"
Draighean appeared behind him and wrapped his hands around his stomach gingerly,
"Careful, Adare. Don't fall."
The boy laughed,
"You'd think a father would be more worried about his fourteen-year-old boyfriend giving birth more then his welfare."
Draighean pressed his nose into Adare's hair,
"I am. That is my first worry. I'd just like you to be more careful on top of it."
Adare sighed, letting his arms drop,
"Fine, I will."
The pair made their way down the forest path, Adare dancing across the dirt and weaving around trees. Draighean stuck close to his side.
"Would you please plant both feet on the ground!"
Adare stopped and turned to him,
"Alright, don't get so worked up!"
Mamma...
Adare froze,
"What is it?"
Draighean stepped up beside him,
"Is it Avon?"
Adare nodded, waiting,
"Avon, what is it?"
Nothing.
Draighean frowned,
"This isn't good." He mumbled.
Adare looked down at his stomach,
"Avon, answer your mother."
Ma...mma...
Adare's eyes widened,
"Lets get back to th- AHH!"
He crumpled to the ground.
Draighean kneeled beside him,
"Adare!?"
Adare groaned and bent his head low,
"Avon..."

Hey, this has a sequel, you know. Much better, and it's straight, but I'm not posting it until this one's done.

Vitrue, DP. And, yes, it is.

Draighean couldn't get Adare home in time. They were about two miles from it when Draighean gave up trying to move his suffering boyfriend and use his cell phone to call his grandparents. His grandmother came, helping just able to help at the last minute.
After about an hour it was over.
___________________
Adare lay in the secret room's big soft bed asleep, Draighean also asleep in the chair beside him, nine the next morning. The big pendalum clock swung neatly against the wall by the door with a tick... tock...tick...tock... While the two boys slept.
Sun peeked through the window's curtains and scattered across the floor in pretty patterns of flowers and such, casting shadows on the furniture.
The secret door opened, without a sound, and Draighean's grandmother slipped inside with a bundle wrapped in a white blanket.
Adare's eyes fluttered open and he smiled up at her as she stepped up to the bed,
"Is he ok?"
She nodded with a smile, passing him the warm bundle,
"He hasn't opened his eyes yet, but I gave him a check-up, and he's as perfect as can be."
Adare cradled the blanket for a second, then raised a finger and pulled the edge back,
"Could you wake Draighean, please?"
Grandmother nodded and shook her grandson's shoulder,
"Draighean, wake up, honey."
He blinked himself awake, sitting up and rubbing his eyes,
"Yes?"
She glanced at Adare,
"He's here."
Draighean scrambled out of his chair to sit beside Adare on the bed,
"Is he alright?"
She nodded,
"Perfect."
Adare let Driaghean press close to him as he gently pulled down the blanket. Draighean sucked in a deep breath and Adare's eyes whelled with tears at the sight.
The baby was pale as a ghost, but with short whisps of white hair, and plump pink cheeks and a button nose like all babies do. The tips of both his ears were pink as his cheeks, and his tiny hands were folded over his chest.
"My God."
Draighean whispered.
Adare watched his little shoulders rise and fall with gentle breath,
"His hair...?"
The grandmother shook her head,
"A rare trait. Very rare indeed. No one's had a child with white hair in centuries, it is quite a gift."
Adare kissed the baby's forehead,
"He's beautiful."
Draighean hugged Adare gingerly, for he was still sore,
"I'm so glad your alright."
Adare nuzzled him,
"Nothing was ever gonna happen."
Draighean glanced down at his child,
"Adare! Look!"
Avon's eyes were slits. He yawned like a young cat and opened them fully, holding his arms out to his mother,
"Ba!"
Draighean and Adare startled.
"His eyes,"
"Are as pure as gold!"
They finished each other's sentence.
Adare hugged the baby close and let his little fiingers grasp his shirt,
"Draighean!"
Draighean kissed his forehead as he watched the newborn,
"Congradulations to us."
The End

Yes, I know you guys think I'm sick, but this was just begging me to write it.
I woke up a few months ago to something small crying. So I got up, in Artemis's house, and wandered all over the place, but couldn't find the sorce of the noise. I went outside on the screened-in porch and sat in an armchair and fell asleep. The next morning, I got this idea.
o.0 Weird... But so me.
I'll post the sequal in a new thread.
I can't thank any of you enough for reading!!
After about an hour it was over.

You have no idea on how much I agree with you on the weird part...
When I told my friends about the sequel, they went crazy on me. It was kinda scary really... But then, when I told them that you said that the next was better and straight, one of them said,"That is better?" I think she actually liked it....
