My Savior
Rain
I stand
All alone
On a bridge
Made of wood
Worn from years
And pounding rain
My black hair glistens
With small water droplets
And my shinning hazel eyes
Slowly lose their happy lights
And then, overhead, it appears
The straw umbrella that blocks rain
My best friend and classmate
"Idiots don't catch colds,"
He says to my blush
I shrink into him
His hug warm
He leads me
Down and
Through
Rain
Rain
I stand
All alone
On a bridge
Made of wood
Worn from years
And pounding rain
My black hair glistens
With small water droplets
And my shinning hazel eyes
Slowly lose their happy lights
And then, overhead, it appears
The straw umbrella that blocks rain
My best friend and classmate
"Idiots don't catch colds,"
He says to my blush
I shrink into him
His hug warm
He leads me
Down and
Through
Rain

Lost Heart, Lost Child
Her
Silent
Stillness
Moonlight
Trees whisper
Swamps bubble
Birds's songs quiet
Grass is deadly silent
I walk with a long stride
Brushing aside the weeds
And crushing the underbrush
Chocolate eyes are searching
Brown hair swishing about
Let down of the hairbow
Used to secure them
I flail so uselessly
Breath ragged
Must find her
She needs
Only me
Her
Her
Silent
Stillness
Moonlight
Trees whisper
Swamps bubble
Birds's songs quiet
Grass is deadly silent
I walk with a long stride
Brushing aside the weeds
And crushing the underbrush
Chocolate eyes are searching
Brown hair swishing about
Let down of the hairbow
Used to secure them
I flail so uselessly
Breath ragged
Must find her
She needs
Only me
Her

Rain Damage
Him
Oh no
His eyes
That smile
His clothes
Those looks
And then me
My dark locks
Wide blue eyes
Shocked posture
Unbeleiving stare
Soaked to the bone
Standing in a corner
Thin rimmed glasses
But still I stare at you
Now you are beside me
Your arm around my form
You squeeze me tightly
And I feel your warmth
Slowly seeping into me
My body relaxes into
You and shudders
He kisses me
Now I sleep
Against
Him
Him
Oh no
His eyes
That smile
His clothes
Those looks
And then me
My dark locks
Wide blue eyes
Shocked posture
Unbeleiving stare
Soaked to the bone
Standing in a corner
Thin rimmed glasses
But still I stare at you
Now you are beside me
Your arm around my form
You squeeze me tightly
And I feel your warmth
Slowly seeping into me
My body relaxes into
You and shudders
He kisses me
Now I sleep
Against
Him
